Highlights Job Number: BH_1777683 Location: Louisville, KY Start Date: Jul 26, 2026 to Oct 24, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Number of Positions: 1 Work Location: On‑Site Work Only Shift Type: Nights Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN) Skills ICU Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Provide comprehensive and critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Monitor vital signs and manage life‑sustaining treatments. Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed. Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitors. Assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions and escalating care when necessary. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary ICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform routine and emergency procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and cardiac monitoring. Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and ICU policies. Participate in code situations and other medical emergencies. Requirements Current RN state license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years experience in an ICU or critical care setting. Certification in BLS and ACLS required. Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, equipment, and pharmacology. Ability to remain calm and efficient in high‑stress, fast‑paced environments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
