HR Coordinator (PERSONNEL ASSOCIATE III)

Overview The Health Benefits and Retirement Coordinator provides para‑professional support to the Office of Human Resources, independently processes appointments, reclassifications, health benefits, retirements, and resignations, and maintains employee personnel files in Workday. Responsibilities Provide para‑professional support to the Office of Human Resources. Process appointments, reclassifications, health benefits, retirements, and resignations independently. Create and maintain employee official personnel files and online files via Workday. Serve as Health Benefits and Retirement Coordinator. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: One year and six months of general clerical or administrative support experience, at least nine months of which must have been paraprofessional personnel experience involving the application of personnel procedures, policies, rules, and regulations to specific employment actions. Responsibilities included preparing and maintaining employment records, calculating salaries, applying and interpreting rules and policies, preparing personnel‑related reports, counseling employees regarding benefits and obligations, and responding to inquiries concerning employment actions. U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non‑commissioned officer in human resources assistance classification or specialty codes may substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Desired or Preferred Qualifications Experience with JobAps system. Experience with SPMS/Workday system. Benefits
