A large, highly respected school network seeks an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist to support a dynamic student population spanning PreK through 8th grade during the 2026-2027 school year.

The assignment runs from July 20, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with the potential to work across multiple campuses, including locations in Great Lakes and North Chicago. While the ability to provide bilingual (Spanish/English) support is highly valued, it is not mandatory for this role.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid SLP-CCC credentials and licensure to practice in Illinois
• Experience working within school settings, with PreK-8 students preferred
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver both direct and consultative speech-language services
• Strong collaboration skills—comfortable teaming with educators, parents, and administrators
• Bilingual English-Spanish proficiency a plus, but not required
• Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans (IEPs) that promote student growth
• Provide therapy to individuals and small groups in-person
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
• Document progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
