For more information, visit As a Full Time Medical Assistant, Health Center Manager, youll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Mount Dora, FL. The scheduled hours are 32 per week, Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm. Dual management/clinical role. Strong phlebotomy skills required. Excellent work/life balance - No Fridays!/ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliManages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance./liliOversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff)./liliAllocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed./liliMonitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration./liliIdentifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis./liliServes as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations./liliCommunicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives./liliCompletes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions./liliMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulh3What Youll Bring/h3ulliBachelors degree or equivalent work experience required./liliCurrent license as a MA in practicing state./liliCurrent hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required./liliCMA certification required from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists, or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board of Medical Examiners.
