Sterile Processing Technician

The role of the Sterile Processing Technician is to perform technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment for the entire facility. These duties must be carried out according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and standards for all patient populations served. The role requires strong attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and basic computer skills. The Sterile Processing Technician will also complete quarterly competencies.
