DoorDash Labs is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Electrical Assembler to build, wire, test, and repair autonomous delivery robots. The role involves assembling mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure high-quality production builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems
• Build wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
• Install power, sensor, control, and compute systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Perform testing, inspections, and basic calibrations
• Troubleshoot, rework, and repair assemblies
• Use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Support inventory, material handling, and production tracking
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality standards

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, electrical, or related assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
• Experience with wiring, cable routing, wire termination, and electromechanical assembly
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a production environment

Preferred:

• Robotics or drone experience
• Experience assembling electromechanical products
• Manufacturing floor experience
