MMR holds the proud distinction of being the largest privately owned "Open Shop" contractor in the United States with over 30 branch offices including global locations in Canada and Mexico.Job DescriptionMMR is seeking Project Engineer candidates to manage project engineering workflows including RFIs, submittals, document control, design clarifications, material procurement support, scope tracking, installation work packages, reporting, and coordination with construction and quality teams. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.Maintain document control and tracking logs.Support procurement and material expediting.Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.Support turnover and closeout documentation.Build and maintain installation work packages.Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthly reports consisting of project status and financials.Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting.Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics team with bill of material for installation work packages.Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process.Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.Required Skills and Qualifications:BS in Construction Management or related fieldExperience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferredExperience in industrial construction is preferredMust have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasingAbility to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specificationsWorking knowledge of MS Office softwareExperience with Primavera P6 preferredAbility to read and understand a CPM schedule and identify critical pathsAbility to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervisionStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsAble to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlineExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as neededRegular and reliable attendance at workMMR Group, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("MMR") is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally protected class.
