Position: Material Handler - No Forklift Duties
Location: Plano, TX 75074
Client: Leading Automotive Industry
Duration: 4 months temp to perm
Payrate: $17.50/hr (Weekly Pay)
Shift: 8 AM – 4.30 PM (Possible to extend)
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and branch orders for shipping.
- Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and company software to process inventory and shipments.
- Verify products and quantities against shipping documents (ASN).
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
- Organize and consolidate shipments.
- Replenish inventory from reserve stock.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Work with team members, truck drivers, and shipping carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs .
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs .
- Occasionally lift up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach as needed.
Additional Notes
- No forklift duties are required for this position, although forklift certification may be beneficial for future opportunities.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on business needs.
