Job Summary:
This Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is located in Alton, Illinois. The role involves providing patient care during night shifts in a fast-paced ER environment. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position is suitable for qualified ER nurses with at least one year of relevant clinical experience.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room Nurse
• Location: Alton, Illinois
• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license in hand at time of submittal; MO license with Compact license acceptable; Certifications in ACLS and BLS required; 2 years of clinical experience preferred; proactive with Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patients, Stroke/CVA management, Emergency Medications, General Emergency Department care for adult and pediatric patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy skills, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience.
• Additional Information: The facility sees a variety of trauma and emergency patients, with a daily census of approximately 85 patients and 21 beds. All travelers will float within service line. Flu vaccination is required; COVID-19 vaccination is not mandated.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have two years of experience, with at least four patient ratio experience, and preferred EPIC charting experience.
