Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role involves providing critical patient care in a high-volume emergency department with an average census of 75 patients. The ER nurse will be responsible for managing pediatric and adult patients, including holiday coverage, and adhering to established clinical protocols. Job Details Schedule: 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid medical assistant license, minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, and proficiency with emergency care procedures. EMR experience in Meditech Expanse version 6 is preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience and comfort caring for pediatric patients as part of patient ratio. Skills checklist matching specialty is required. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The position entails coverage of a facility with 41 private exam beds, a 7-bed accelerated care unit (ACU) for fast track, and 35 hall beds. The average emergency department census is 75, and candidate must be comfortable with pediatric patient care.
