We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Assistant to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves supporting our logistics operations by ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers. You will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating logistics-related activities, contributing to our overall efficiency and effectiveness in meeting our customers' needs. In this position, you will be responsible for various tasks, including tracking shipments, processing orders, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating shipments and tracking delivery status.
- Process and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor transportation costs and seek ways to minimize expenses.
- Provide support in the preparation of shipping documents and labels.
- Assist in resolving any shipping discrepancies or issues that arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with logistics software is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
