Customer Service Representative

The Company currently has a need for a Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Company's customers, outside sales representatives, distribution terminal managers and third party transportation carriers to insure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to customer order inquiries and requests as soon as possible but no more than four (4) hours after receipt in order to ensure that the order details are promptly communicated to the company fulfillment location and, where necessary, third party transportation companies. Coordinate with sales representatives and fulfillment terminals to arrange for transportation of customer order from the nearest and/or most suitable location for the customer Work closely with third-party transportation carriers in order to coordinate timely fulfillment of customer orders. Work closely with billing specialists to ensure that customers are promptly and accurately invoiced for orders upon fulfillment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Self motivator with good work ethics High school diploma or GED required, with 1-3 years related work experience preferred; or any combination of training and experience which provides the necessary required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks necessary to meet multiple, often competing, deadlines. Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English language, communicate positively with employees, customers and vendors at all levels.
