Controls Engineer

Must-Haves: Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) Strong understanding of HVAC hardware (AHU, RTU, VAV, chillers, cooling towers, etc.) Experience reviewing and editing engineering drawings and sequences of operation Ability to interpret and design sequences of operation Hands‑on commissioning and troubleshooting experience Plusses: Experience with Metasys, Tridium/Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, or Trane systems Prior experience supporting large commercial or industrial HVAC environments Exposure to pharmaceutical or manufacturing facilities Day-to-Day: Design and develop hardware design packages for HVAC equipment Review and create sequences of operation for building systems Work onsite with JCI equipment to commission systems Run system tests and validate performance of hardware and software Troubleshoot and resolve BAS/BMS software or controls issues Collaborate with engineering team on design improvements and system functionality Participate in training, shadowing, and knowledge-sharing opportunities Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Controls Engineer (Systems Engineer) for a leading HVAC-focused client.
