Responsibilities The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on‑call status. Assessment and re‑assessments Development of the plan of care Implementation of appropriate patient‑care interventions Evaluation of appropriate patient‑care interventions Supervises and coordinates licensed and non‑licensed personnel in the provision of care as assigned Provides guidance and mentorship to non‑licensed personnel and students, as appropriate The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Mental Health staff must assist with physical restraints of patients, using the identified Behavior Management Technique System. This position may include additional or varied physical demands, respiratory fit test requirements, and exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, or chemicals. Must follow standard precautions. Qualifications Required Qualifications RN (Registered Nurse) current licensure in Oklahoma or a current multi‑state license from a Nurse Licensure Compact state BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire; for hospice only, current CPR required in lieu of BLS Other certifications and competencies based on service line skill Effective communication skills in English (verbal/written) Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver’s license in the state where employed, dependable transportation, and proof of current automobile liability insurance. INTEGRIS Mental Health: Must operate an INTEGRIS‑owned vehicle or personal vehicle (non‑INTEGRIS‑owned) and have a current Oklahoma State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
