Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies.

Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.

Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and delegate patient care priorities effectively.

Conduct thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively to the team.

Administer medications and monitor side effects and responses accurately.

Adhere to safety standards, infection control and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Current RN license in good standing with at least 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.

Endorsed certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.

Proficient in the use of the MedHost Electronic Documentation System (EDIS).

Preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
