As a Quality Auditor you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations. A Quality Auditor helps organizations maintain high manufacturing standards by inspecting products throughout the production process. This role combines technical inspection skills with strong documentation and organizational abilities.
The Quality Auditor evaluates materials, components, and finished products using established quality procedures while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Consistency and attention to detail contribute directly to manufacturing success.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional training or certifications related to Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, auditing, or continuous improvement are a plus.
- Ability to understand technical documentation, quality procedures, and compliance requirements.
- 6+ months of experience.
- Experience supporting or participating in ISO 9001 certification and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Background conducting quality audits, compliance audits, process assessments, or quality inspections.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), defect resolution, and failure analysis.
- Experience with quality reporting, documentation control, and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution center environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and operating conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Capable of conducting inspections and audits across multiple operational areas.
- Perform internal quality audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to QMS and ISO 9001 standards.
- Conduct inspections, including Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR), for materials and processes.
- Document audit findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality concerns.
- Investigate product and process defects using root cause analysis and failure analysis methodologies.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization efforts.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to drive compliance, quality performance, and operational excellence.
- Assist with quality training, coaching, and problem-solving activities throughout the facility.
