Radiology - CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; First-time travelers are welcome. License: Active license required. Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS required. Must-Have: Must be able to perform CT and X-Ray. Must be able to start IVs; will be required to start about 8-9 IVs a day. Outpatient (Adult & Pediatric) and Emergency Department experience required. PACS and portable experience required; GE and Siemens experience preferred. Experience with Samsung X-Ray is a plus. Experience with infants and pediatrics is preferred. Description:The position requires expertise in CT and X-ray procedures.The shift follows a 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday.On occasion, the individual may need to float to other facilities.Candidates must have experience with the following:CT examinations of Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiograms, and Multiplanar Reconstruction.X-ray examinations should include Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, and Musculoskeletal assessments.Knowledge of cardiac CT, including pulmonary vein CT and cardiac calcium scores, is required.The role may also involve performing biopsies and aspirations.Safety protocols and radiation therapy planning experience are necessary.Strong skills in 3D rendering and various CT modalities are required.Experience with isolation precautions and the preparation of contrast media is vital.This position involves care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
