Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 1870 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• No current placement allowed at Program: Nashville General Hospital - Direct.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to read telemetry strips.

Required Credentials: - Arrhythmia and heparin competency testing is required prior to orientation; failure to pass will result in contract cancellation.

Special Requests: - After three call-outs, the contract will be terminated. - Must be willing to work Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, with no RTO during the holidays.

Unit Details: - Charge or preceptor responsibilities may be required.

Floating Requirements: - Floating is required within the candidate’s scope of practice.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
