Implementation Manager

Benchling seeks an Implementation Manager to lead platform rollouts for biotech and biopharma customers. The role combines scientific expertise with project management to guide customers through implementation, from requirements analysis through user onboarding and post-launch optimization.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end customer implementations from kickoff through go-live and beyond
- Conduct requirements analysis, design workshops, and configure platform solutions to meet customer needs
- Develop test plans, oversee user acceptance testing, and execute staff training programs
- Serve as trusted advisor, documenting customer pain points and advocating for product improvements
- Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with sales on account growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related life sciences field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on laboratory or research experience
- Strong communication skills across scientists, IT leaders, and executives
- Project management capabilities with ability to manage timelines and budgets
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently on complex implementations
- Scientific background enabling rapid understanding of complex workflows
