district shift leader

Overview Einstein Bros. Bagels has been baking fresh bagels daily since 1995 and is looking for a District Shift Leader to support our stores and develop into a General Manager. The role offers a dynamic career path, early opening duties, and a focus on work‑life balance. Schedule Shifts begin as early as 3am for the first bake and store opening duties. You will never have to work past 3PM. Minimum 30 hours/week required. Responsibilities Perform management duties at the home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for teams. Ensure high‑quality food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. Perform restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. Track P&L, achieve food cost and labor targets, schedule, and recruit quality team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience. Ability to work varied hours and days, including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am). Ability to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Must complete ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan (if not already certified).
