Senior Equity Options Volatility Trader – IMC Trading

IMC Trading’s US Equity Options business is one of the leading liquidity providers in the market. We are expanding and continuously improving our options pricing, especially in volatility. We expect traders who collaborate closely with quantitative, research, and development teams to identify mispricings, execute trades, and enhance market visibility.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue by identifying and capitalizing on short‑term mispricings and managing larger positions.
• Work closely with our research and quant teams to analyze results and improve strategies.
• Take responsibility and ownership early to drive strategies forward and achieve success.

Your Skills And Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as an equity options trader.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a healthy risk appetite, competitiveness, and a fast decision‑making style.
• Ability to identify patterns and describe them analytically. Preference for relevant tertiary qualifications (graduate or postgraduate) with strong academic results.
• Passionate about volatility dynamics and eager to act on insights to capture market opportunities.
• In tune with the fundamental drivers of the equities we trade and able to work effectively with research analysts to make decisions.

Salary and Compensation

Base Salary: $175,000 – $250,000 USD. All full‑time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
