As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan while managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive care, and building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients. Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
• Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.
• Requires certification in BLS.
• APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law.
• DHEC and DEA license.
• At least 6 months of Primary Care Experience.

Position Highlights:

• Monday Friday 8am-5pm.
• Outpatient.
• Evaluates and treats on the basis of history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results pursuant to the practice agreement or scope of practice guideline.
• Initiates referrals to other health care provides, and/or consults with the attending physician or the collaborating physician.
• Documents and bills for direct care provided.
• Potential to precept students at MUSC enrolled as an advanced practice provider student; and facilitates the learning of other new team members.
