Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Order Puller in Huntsville, AL. Our client is looking to hire an Order Puller/Warehouse Team Member to join a fast pace, high stakes organization.

Summary of a ORDER PULLER includes :

This position will include material handling of products. The employee in this position will be responsible for receiving stock, recording information about product and preparing it for shipment to the end user. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds to is required. Work environment includes warehouse areas with periods of continue standing or walking. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing is required. Scanner, computer and inventory control experience, forklift experience are a plus.

Job Requirements of a ORDER PULLER:

Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements): The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following:

• Follow safety rules and work procedures.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data by scanner, manually or using computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms and warehouse.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

Pre-employment testing (including background, drug screening and agility testing) will be required post offer.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
