We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Shift Leaders to join our team!

The Shift Leader

The Shift Leader is an important part of our restaurant leadership team and is responsible for helping ensure the restaurant operates safely, efficiently, and profitably during each shift.

Shift Leaders help lead the team, maintain Firehouse Subs standards, and create an exceptional guest experience. This role has a strong hospitality focus and requires someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming restaurant.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support team members during each shift
• Provide outstanding hospitality and ensure every guest feels welcomed
• Maintain high standards for food quality, accuracy, and presentation
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and operating safely
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Help manage labor, product usage, and other controllable costs
• Ensure company policies and operating standards are followed
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
• Help protect the financial success and reputation of the restaurant
• Lead by example and create a positive, team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable, positive, hardworking individuals who enjoy working with people and want to grow with our company.

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Dependable and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team

REQUIREMENTS

• Weekend and evening availability required
• Past leadership experience preferred, but not required
• Top-notch customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash and finances

• Computer literate
