Registered Nurse - Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro care. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical knowledge, strong patient assessment skills, and the ability to manage critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including trauma and cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, medications, and treatments effectively.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge in managing patient care in the intensive care unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; 3 years strongly preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience in Trauma Level I or II settings is preferred.
• Ability to manage patients requiring advanced therapies such as CRRT, EVD, and IABP is favored.
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
