Responsibilities

As a valued caregiver, your duties will include:

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Preparing nutritious meals and offering feeding support as needed
• Administering medication reminders as per care plan
• Performing light housekeeping tasks, laundry, linen changes, and maintaining a clean, secure environment
• Providing companionship, engaging in conversations, and offering emotional support to enhance the quality of life
• Accompanying clients to appointments and assisting with errands when required
• Observing and reporting any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental well-being
• Delivering compassionate, dignified, and reliable care while upholding each client's independence

Requirements

• Preferably possess a current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) are strongly encouraged to apply
• 1-2 years of recent experience in home care, private-duty, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Up-to-date TB test or chest X-ray results
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Capability to work independently with professionalism and confidentiality
• Passion for delivering patient-centered and compassionate care

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds

Safely assist clients with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility

Perform routine physical tasks associated with personal care and household assistance
