Data Control ClerkThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in San Antonio, Texas.Job Description:Pay Rate: $27 / hour with Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to HireHours: 8am - 5pm, Monday through FridayCollects, reviews, and inputs data into a computer processing system.Codes and inputs data from computer processing.Identifies and resolves production related errors.Maintains control logs, records and coding schemes to process source data using pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, develop, and maintain statistical reportsUpdate and input data into SAPAnswer telephone calls and provide information/direction to both internal and external contactsMaintain paper file recordsProvide support by relieving other positions within the Business AreaPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read, write and understand both verbal and written instructionsAbility to work with detailed quantitative data with a high degree of accuracyGood follow-through skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely mannerAbility to examine information and apply logical thought processesBasic math skills (addition, math, multiplication, and division); Demonstrated ability to work with numbers; 10-key skillsAbility to work well with othersMust be reliable and be a team playerAbility to prepare written summaries of analysis and findings for management.Work well in a fast paced environment.Ability to work conscientiously and reliably with minimum supervisionPerforms other duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and schedulingProficiency in data input, transaction processing and data extraction.Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
