Position Overview:
Tom Birks Allstate Agency is seeking an experienced and licensed Insurance Sales Producer to join our agency in Bloomfield, NJ. This role is designed for a true sales professionalsomeone who thrives on prospecting, generating new business, building relationships, and closing deals.

We're looking for a "hustler" mentality: someone who doesn't wait for opportunities to come to them but actively creates them. The ideal candidate is motivated by success, eager to grow their book of business, and excited by the opportunity to earn based on their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, lead follow-up, and outbound sales activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
• Identify insurance needs and recommend customized coverage solutions
• Educate clients on policy options, coverage features, and available discounts
• Conduct policy reviews and uncover cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities
• Consistently follow up on leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and production targets
• Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term client relationships
• Stay current on insurance products, industry developments, and agency initiatives

Requirements:

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
• Previous insurance sales experience required
• Proven ability to generate new business and close sales
• Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Competitive, driven, and highly motivated by results
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Comfortable using CRM systems, agency technology, and sales tools
• Positive attitude with a desire to continuously learn and improve
