ACCOUNTING CLERK

Position Summary ACE Fabricators, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and organized Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations. This position assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, billing, collections, month-end activities, and financial recordkeeping . The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the confidentiality of financial and employee information. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy. Reconcile vendor statements and research or resolve discrepancies. Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for payment. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances. Accounts Receivable Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing. Assist with collection of outstanding accounts receivable. Research and resolve customer billing or account discrepancies. Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances. General Accounting Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Enter and maintain accounting information in Sage and other company systems. Assist with month-end closing activities. Support payroll, audits, reconciliations, and special accounting projects as needed. Maintain accurate and organized electronic accounting records and supporting documentation. Follow established company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Required Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research discrepancies and solve routine accounting problems. Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information professionally. Preferred Qualifications Sage accounting software experience preferred. Experience performing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
