If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced with physically disabled adult patients, this role could be the perfect next step in your healthcare career.ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical duties within the scope of practice to support outpatient physiatry services, including assisting providers during patient exams and procedures.Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and safety, especially when physical assistance is required for disabled patients.Collect and document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health record system, including medical history, vital signs, and current medication details.Assist with nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), Botox injections, and other diagnostic procedures.Maintain clinical supplies and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms.Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments as needed, with flexibility to float within the clinic's scope to meet operational demands.Required SkillsExperience working with disabled adult patients in a healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology and outpatient clinical workflows.Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team and adapt to changing priorities.Additional Skills & RequirementsCertifications: BLS certification required prior to start.Licensure: Valid MA-C or MA-R license in the state; a compact license accepted, must be in hand at the time of submission.Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in outpatient clinics, with preferred experience in physiatry or adult outpatient care.Schedule: Day shift, four 8-hour days per week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).Additional: Willingness to work three of the five designated holidays; reliable transportation required; ability to complete required modules pre-start and during orientation.Candidates who are compassionate, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a respected clinical team are encouraged to apply.
