Senior Software Engineering Manager, Agentic and UI Automation Experiences

Perform advanced ML modeling with large language models (LLMs).Develop AI agents that effectively understands user behavior, screen content and use tools/APIs.Optimize ML models for on-device performance.Work closely with the GDM, Gemma Frontier, Gemini app, and Android framework teams.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.Experience with machine learning, large language models, Python, and machine learning optimization .Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in machine learning, or 5 years of industry experience in applied machine learning/machine learning research.Experience with machine learning, large language models, Python, and machine learning optimization.Expertise in NLP, LLM, computer vision.Knowledge of android framework.Strong programming skills in Python, C++.Passionate and respectful team player, and ability to grow the team, with leadership and collaboration skills, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
