Visit Branch Manager The Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of all aspects of counter sales and warehouse operations, including inventory, product handling, shipping/receiving, and personnel management in a friendly, fast‑paced team environment. Job Requirements At least 5 years of experience working in a hose fabrication and distribution business. Ability to handle a busy counter and move customer traffic along at a quick pace. Experience with both industrial and hydraulic hoses. Experience in operational procedures and hose fabrication for a hose distributor; personable and able to handle all kinds of customer situations and leave customers wanting to return. High level of understanding of inventory and ability to recognize trends in customer purchases to recommend inventory levels at the branch. Responsibility to carry out operational production procedures, ensure product quality and safety for customers and staff, and oversee training of team members on hose knowledge, machine and equipment operation, and customer service skills to ensure a successful and profitable branch. Responsible for all cash management, including bank deposits and petty cash fund. Ensure facility is kept organized and clean both inside and outside daily. Keep Retail Center stock up to date and accurate; bins organized and well‑marked. Make stock adjustments daily for inventory accuracy. Ensure inventory is received properly; make adjustments to receiving report daily. Oversee shipping and receiving to ensure proper delivery of products in a timely manner. Maintain payroll records for HR each week. Schedule personnel coverage for the branch to account for vacations, etc. Manage paperwork workflow to ensure production schedules met and monthly budgets achieved. Follow up on quotes to convert them to orders within company margin guidelines. Review call orders daily; contact customers timely and move product from warehouse to customer. Ensure building maintenance and equipment maintenance performed regularly. Control operational expenses within budgetary guidelines.
