Credit & A/R Supervisor

ProspectBlue is seeking a hands‑on Credit & A/R Supervisor for a 6‑week contract engagement to support a high‑volume environment during a temporary coverage gap. This role will oversee day‑to‑day credit and collections activities while also remaining actively involved in account management. The ideal candidate can step in quickly, provide leadership, and ensure continuity across credit, collections, and customer account support functions. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support daily credit and accounts receivable operations across assigned branch locations Monitor and manage past due accounts, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution Partner with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding balances and account discrepancies Identify and escalate high‑risk or delinquent accounts to the next level of collections Review and assist with invoices, statements, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer issues, disputes, and payment arrangements Handle incoming calls and email inquiries related to billing, payments, and credit concerns Provide guidance and direction to team members (if applicable) to maintain workflow and productivity Make informed decisions regarding credit holds, payment plans, and account status Ensure alignment between accounting records and customer accounts through regular reconciliation Qualifications Prior experience in Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Collections, with leadership or supervisory exposure preferred Ability to work independently while also providing team support and direction Strong decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage both customer relationships and internal partnerships Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts and competing demands Experience with account reconciliation and dispute resolution processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Prospectblue
