Location: Phoenix, AZ (PHX) Hybrid Onsite



Duration: 6+ Months Contract



Work Mode: Hybrid 3 Days/Week Onsite Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, API testing, and Java coding . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications across UI and API layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright .
• Perform UI and end-to-end automation testing for web applications.
• Develop and execute API tests using appropriate API testing tools and frameworks.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable Java code for automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Create and maintain automated regression, smoke, functional, and integration test suites.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and provide detailed test execution reports.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
• Strong Java programming and coding skills.
• Solid experience with API testing and REST APIs.
• Experience developing or working with automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, or similar Java testing frameworks .
• Experience with Git and source-control practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
