Summary

The Maximo Developer will operate in a techno-functional capacity, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing the enterprise asset management ecosystem, with a strong focus on automation scripting, API development, and system integrations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Maximo experience along with strong scripting and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Maximo

• Design and develop automation scripts using Python, Jython, and JavaScript

• Configure and customize Maximo applications to support operational needs

• Develop and manage integrations between Maximo and third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, HR, Finance) using REST APIs and the Maximo Integration Framework

• Provide Tier 3 support, troubleshooting complex system and testing issues

• Support system upgrades and prepare environments for future Maximo Application Suite transitions

• Lead enhancement projects from design through deployment, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices

• Document solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (7.6.x or higher)

• Strong experience with automation scripting using Python and JavaScript

• Proven experience with Maximo Integration Framework and RESTful API development

• Experience integrating Maximo with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Ivanti

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business users
