Innovien is supporting facilities operations across a portfolio of mission-critical environments — data centers, hospitals, and airports where downtime is not an option. We're hiring three Infrastructure Technicians to own maintenance and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, and related mechanical and electrical building systems across assigned customer sites.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair HVAC systems including RTUs, package units, split systems, refrigeration, and chilled water equipment
• Perform startup, commissioning, and functional testing of HVAC systems supporting data centers (CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, and associated controls)
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance on mission-critical cooling systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues to restore system functionality quickly and efficiently
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, and sequences of operation
• Work with BAS systems and communicate using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP
• Support system optimization, airflow balancing, and temperature/humidity control strategies
• Document all service activities, findings, and corrective actions in detailed service reports
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site-specific safety protocols and data center compliance standards
• Maintain professional communication with customers while representing ACI in a technical service capacity
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults; service controls, relays, transformers, thermostats, and associated components
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and warranty services in line with facility standards
• Maintain accurate daily logs and records of all maintenance activity
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to team members as needed

What You Bring

• 10+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience across RTUs, package units, split systems, and refrigeration
• Experience working in data centers or other mission-critical environments required
• CRAC/ CRAH, Chiller units, Cooling systems, HVAC
• 5+ years of HVAC/R or equivalent technical training preferred
• Audit, maintain, and manage computer enterprise asset management systems for BMS and EPMS installations.
• Manage small to medium size projects and programs.· Perform point to point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Flowmeters, Sensors, Temperature, Humidity, Loop checks experience
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, airside systems, hydronic systems, and controls
• Experience with BAS systems and networking fundamentals (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP)
• Strong working knowledge of the refrigeration cycle, systems operation, and sequence of operations
• EPA Universal 608 certification
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder with valid government-issued ID
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Chiller and boiler experience
• HVAC or refrigeration trade/vocational certification
• Electrical background
• Commissioning experience

Details

• Sterling, VA or Warrenton, VA 
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; occasional weekends as needed
• W2 employment with Innovien Solutions
• 6-month contract-to-hire; converts to hourly non-exempt FTE with time-and-a-half OT
• Upon conversion: 2 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick leave, 11 paid holidays, 5% 401(k) match
• One-round virtual interview (30 minutes)
