Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day handling of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items in a clean and efficient environment. In this role, you will help ensure laundry is processed accurately, handled with care, and returned in excellent condition to support smooth operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items according to established procedures.
• Inspect linens and garments for stains, damage, or quality concerns and report issues as needed.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and follow cleaning and maintenance guidelines.
• Load and unload washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently.
• Track and restock laundry supplies such as detergents, cleaning agents, and linens.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area.
• Ensure items are properly labeled, counted, and distributed to the appropriate areas.
• Follow health, safety, and infection-control procedures at all times.
• Support other housekeeping or facilities tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move laundry items throughout the workday.
• Basic communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using commercial laundry equipment and cleaning products.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional attitude.
