Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute & Outpatient
Location: Kauai, Hawaii
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Lunch: 12:00–1:00 PM
Schedule: Flexible hours may be required + Saturday availability required
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: Quick Start
Responsibilities
- Perform PT evaluations and treatments for inpatient and outpatient patients.
- Provide care in:
- Outpatient – 75%
- Inpatient – 25%
- Acute care
- ICU
- Med/Surg
- Observation
- SNF
- ER
- Occasionally OB
- Manage outpatient diagnoses independently.
- Provide mobility progression from acute care through SNF.
- Assist with discharge planning .
- Manage a mixed schedule of approximately 5–15 patients/day .
- Complete new patient evaluations and ongoing treatments.
- Provide thorough patient care in a rural healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist (PT) – Required
- Hawaii PT License – Must obtain ASAP
- Acute/inpatient and outpatient PT experience required.
- Experience with ICU, Med/Surg, SNF, and outpatient settings preferred.
- Must be comfortable working independently.
- Saturday availability is required.
- Must be flexible with working hours based on department needs.
