Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Full Time 3x12s - day/night shift variable, scheduled as needed by client, including every other weekend and holidays

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 14 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- NYS RN Licensure Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- One (1) Year Experience serving in a Med/Surg Environment as a Registered Nurse

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration and telemetry monitoring.
- Educate patients and families on self-care practices post-discharge to support health and healing.
- Promote a healing environment by being present and attentive to patient and family needs.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
