Job Description & Requirements Seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide locum tenens support in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include managing a patient census of approximately 10-12 patients per shift, with no procedures required. The role involves day shifts only (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM), typically on a week-on/week-off schedule, with no call duties. The provider will work in a well-staffed environment at a 45-bed hospital serving an elderly population, handling about 10 admissions and 2 consults daily. No ICU rounding, ventilator management, or trauma cases are involved. EMR training is provided during orientation. Qualifications include a valid Advanced Practice Provider license; hospital medicine experience is preferred.
