Lab Technician Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and sensory testing on in‑process and finished products.
• Accurately record, interpret, and enter test results in LIMS and required documentation.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, GLP, and HACCP requirements at all times.
• Identify data discrepancies and promptly escalate results outside specifications.
• Receive, label, store, retain, and manage samples according to procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and document laboratory equipment performance.
• Safely handle chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases per SDS and safety policies.
• Verify methods, standards, instruments, and participate in proficiency testing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready laboratory environment.
• Train team members on laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide QC coverage as needed.
• Monitor testing supply inventory and request reorders when necessary.

• Laboratory experience in a manufacturing or quality environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, and laboratory SOPs.
• Proficiency with computers and LIMS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Fast‑paced manufacturing laboratory setting
• Frequent use of laboratory instruments, chemicals, and testing equipment
• 6‑month contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs
• 3rd Shift hours:
  • Thursday: 12 a.m. - 7 a.m.
  • Friday: 12 a.m. - 7 a.m.
  • Saturday: 12 a.m. - 7 a.m.
  • Sunday: 12 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Monday: 12 a.m. - 7 a.m.

This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga,TN.
