PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.)

Facility Location: the facility

Setting: Level II Trauma Center

1. Take a patient history; perform a physical exam and make an assessment and diagnosis therefrom; initiate, review, and revise treatment and therapy plans including plans for those services described in PA Regulations, CH 7.7, Article 4, Section 1399.541 of Title 16, Division 13.8 inclusive; and record present pertinent data in a manner meaningful to the physician.

Required Procedures

• Local anesthesia
• Laceration Repair
• Dressing changes
• Drain Removal
• Suture Removal
• Debridement and closure of wounds: Skin and subcutaneous
• Debridement of wounds: Superficial
• Basic Management of non-displaced fractures
• Removal of superficial foreign bodies
• Provide hemostasis
• Insert and remove packing
• Incision and drainage
• Cervical Spine clearance
• Chest tube removal
• Burn Management, partial thickness less than 10%
• Laceration Repair: Intermediate
• Arterial Line Insertion
• Fracture reductions with minimal or moderate displacement
• Reduction of simple dislocations
• Central Line Insertion
• Chest Tuber Insertion

Submission Requirements

• -NCCPA or AACN Certified - [REQURIED] -CA active license - CA [REQURIED](NPs must have CA NP furnishing number); Completion of CA CSEC (California Controlled Substance Education Course (PA's Only) -CA DEA, ACLS, ATLS, BLS [REQUIRED] -Availability at time of name clear - [REQUIRED] -Clean Malpractice / Background
• Clean [HIGHLY PREFERRED] -Local, No flights - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] Must be actively working at a TJC-accredited hospital - [REQUIRED]

Certification Requirements
