In addition, this position will have responsibility that covers profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, distribution, merchandising, research and new product plans.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include the development and implementation of marketing plans for product segments that support McCormick & Co.’s net sales and profit objectives:Providing analysis of and recommendations relating to product offerings and business resultsUnderstanding competitive brands and providing action plans to address threatsUnderstanding and identifying challenges and opportunities at key customersDevelopment and execution of plans that address key issues and opportunities for the segmentsExecution of promotional calendars consistent with the marketing plansExecution of product line optimizations and cost savings initiativesIndependently leading cross functional teams and agencies (project management) for new product development, graphics updates, and/or new initiatives to grow the businessDelivering monthly business analysis for shipment pacing and forecasting through presentations shared with senior marketing leadersPreparing monthly consumption analysis of key programs and recommendations shared with senior marketing leadersRequired QualificationsDegree in Marketing or closely related business disciplineIdeally 2-3 years’ experience in marketing or a related field (preferably in CPG)Strong understanding of Excel, data analysis (Circana – POS & Panel or similar syndicated data platform), and financial analysisGood written communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership, creativity and problem-solving skills with a bias for actionDemonstrated ability to collaborate and motivate a team to achieve resultsDemonstrated excellent results in professional positions that indicate interest and capability for the roleDemonstrated success leading and championing business recommendations for senior managementConsumer products experience preferred but not requiredExperience leading cross-functional teams a plusAs a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
