Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator (CSLP FWS)

Position Summary Grand Canyon University (GCU) maintains a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central AZ (BBBSAZ) to support mentoring relationships between volunteers and children aged 6-18 in Maricopa and Pinal Counties. The CSLP student worker will assist with outreach and event support for this partnership. Primary Responsibilities Support outreach efforts to recruit volunteer mentors. Assist with event planning and on-site support for recruitment events. Help manage and track outreach efforts in internal systems. Support social media and marketing efforts as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Passion and willingness to help others succeed. Strong ethics, integrity, and sense of responsibility. Reliable transportation. Previous mentoring experience a plus. Ability to speak a second language a plus. Employment Eligibility Must be enrolled at GCU in a bachelor's or master's program full-time during fall/spring or half-time during summer, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA at the bachelor level or 3.0 GPA at the master level, and have good financial and academic standing. Students falling below these requirements may be subject to termination. Schedule and Compensation Work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year; summer work may be possible. Pay rate: Minimum Wage. Anticipated end date: June 30, 2027.
