Salary: $71,000 - 111,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python expertise, including production-grade frameworks, tooling, and best practices.
• Experience building full-stack applications and deploying scalable software with modern languages and tools.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code quality and review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for providing clear, structured evaluation rationales.
• Experience building production systems in high-scale engineering environments is an ideal background.
• Graduates of strong computer science programs are especially welcome, though exceptional experience and skills take precedence over educational background.
• Candidates must be based in the United States.

• Curate code examples, develop solutions, and correct code for AI model training, primarily using Python, as well as JavaScript, including ReactJS, C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI-driven coding solutions against industry performance benchmarks.
• Build Python agents and automated verification tools to assess code quality and identify error patterns.
• Develop and assess hypotheses about model capabilities throughout the software engineering cycle, from prototyping and design through launch, monitoring, and operational maintenance.

We support frontier research with high-quality data, training pipelines, and specialized AI researchers, and help enterprises develop reliable AI systems with measurable business impact. In this contractor role, you will work with researchers to create datasets for training, benchmarking, and advancing large language models. The engagement is flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week, and is initially one month with possible extensions based on performance and fit. The contractor arrangement does not include medical benefits or paid leave. The application takes approximately 15–30 minutes and requires an AI video interview.
