Locations: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia Compensation: $110,000 to $135,000, DOE Employment Type: Full-TimeResponsibilities: We’re looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to be a key leader on our job site. In this role, you’ll take ownership of implementing and managing the project’s Quality Control program, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards from start to finish. The QC Manager will be based on site and may also serve as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), though this role is separate from the Project Superintendent. You’ll be an active participant in partnering meetings, QC Plan meetings, coordination meetings, and Mutual Understanding meetings, helping drive clear communication and alignment across the team.Day to day, you’ll lead QC meetings, manage and execute the three phases of control (with support from QC Specialists where designated), and oversee submittal reviews and approvals. You’ll coordinate all required testing, ensure proper documentation is completed, and provide the certifications and records needed to meet contract requirements.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with specialists, testing laboratories, and inspection personnel—and who takes pride in managing detailed documentation while keeping quality and compliance front and center. If you’re proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional results, we’d value your leadership on our team.Qualifications: We’re seeking a seasoned Quality Control (QC) Manager with a strong background in managing complex construction projects. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of combined experience in roles such as Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on projects of similar size and scope—particularly those involving the major trades included in this contract. A minimum of two years of direct experience as a QC Manager is required.You should be well-versed in EM 385-1-1 requirements and have hands-on experience with hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability practices. This role is critical to maintaining safe, compliant, and high-quality work environments, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in setting and upholding those standards. In addition, candidates must have completed the Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course. If you don’t currently hold an active certification, we’ll expect you to obtain it within 90 days of contract award.
