Physician - General Surgeon

We are seeking a General Surgery Physician for a 20-day assignment starting Oct 9, 2026, in South Carolina. This role involves 24-hour call shifts, focusing on general surgery cases such as appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernias, and biopsies. The physician will provide coverage for typical bread and butter cases without scheduled operating room time or clinic duties. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage for a facility. Manage a variety of typical general surgery cases including laparoscopy, appendicitis, gallbladders, hernias, and biopsies. Focus strictly on emergency call responsibilities with no scheduled operating room or clinic work required. Additional Information Required Board Certification in General Surgery. EMR system used is Epic. Inpatient only. Call schedule is 24-hour general surgery call.
