Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Dietitian! Job Description:
- Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Dietitian!
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Location: Suite 200, Med Plaza 1, 2nd Floor
- Department Number: 76924 Unit Highlights:
- Total Beds: 350
- Staffing: 4 Full Time RDs (2 open positions)
- Patient Ratios: Average workload of 10-15 patients/day
- Communication: Utilize iPhones to connect with team members
- EMR: Work with Meditech
- Permanent Positions Available: Yes Key Qualifications:
- Must Have:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification in the state of Texas
- Critical care experience
- Proficient in working with adults and geriatrics
- Preferred:
- NICU experience (to support NICU RD during PTO) Typical Responsibilities:
- Perform nutrition-focused physical exams
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MD, RN, SLP, Diabetes Educators, Case Managers, etc.)
- Flexibility to cover patients throughout the facility Work Environment:
- Dress Code: Olive green scrubs (moss in FIGS)
- Innovative technology including an IMobile communication app for efficient nutrition recommendations
- Experienced team with CNM and senior RD each having 10+ years at this facility
- Order-writing privileges for oral supplements, diet modifications, and enteral nutrition adjustments Recognitions:
- Best Practice for Wound Care Initiative in Central/West Texas Division
