Select, evaluate, and maintain high-quality sources of supply, ensuring optimal supplier performance Inform departments of relevant raw material changes, including price fluctuations, lead times, and specifications Address supplier communication gaps, manufacturing concerns, and delivery delays, with occasional site visits if necessary Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and bid requests for high-cost, long-lead-time commodities to secure the best supplier options Qualifications Degree in business or materials management Understand and adhere to all laws pertaining to procurement and contracts Must possess knowledge and use of price and cost analysis and have excellent negotiating skills Ability to work extra hours when necessary to handle spikes in workload and meet deadlines is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
