Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Fort Madison, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel *TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK ON OUR TELEMETRY/MED SURG UNIT* Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. ACLS Required. EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months Required.Candidate may be required to float to our West Burlington or Henry County campus at times.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census.
